Keeping in Mind our Mother Tongue

          When we were still young, we have experience it. All of us have say the first word when we were a baby or a one year old baby. Try to ask your parents , if what is the first word you have said when you were still young? How you say it for the first time? What is mother tongue?
          Mother tongue is a language. Whether it is Ilocano, Tagalog, or English. Everyone of us have a mouth to speak. You or we are the one who manipulate our own body. And most especially to our mouth, because what ever you say even it is bad or good their will always be hurted. So be careful what you say. God gave us mouth and most especially language so that we can easily communicate with others.
          Use your tongue wisely. Think before you say. Because what ever you say it reflects your personality us human. And what family you belong.

Equal Rights, Equal Oppurtunities

          In many parts of the world, women continue to face some of the worst forms of sexual-based gender violence including Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), Early Forced Marriages, Rapes and other forms of Sexual Abuse such as Incest, Physical Domestic Violence (Wife Battering) and Forced prostitution through Human Trafficking of women among other violations.

          We all have a role to play. Let us raise our voices against these injustices against women. We must speak out and also be the voice of those with no platform to raise their voices and if possible help create for them a platform. We must be heard.

          Let us continue to advocate for the elimination of any form of abuse, discrimination and violation of women’s rights. Let us keep up the fight to ensure that the women in a village in Kathmandu, Nepal, Nairobi, Kisumu, Soweto is free from any form of violence. Let us work towards equal Rights and Equal Opportunities for all.

Responding to Climate Change

          The earth we live in is only one of the millions of objects found in space. Why are there changes on the earth's surface? Why does the earth experience different kinds of weather? What is weather and climate?
          Climate is the weather conditions of country or region. And weather is the condition of the atmosphere over a short period of time. The weather may be fine, fair or stormy. The weather changes from day to day or at different times during the day. This is because certain elements in nature are constantly changing. Changes in the weather happen because of changes in air temperature, air pressure, humidity, wind speed and direction, and precipitation. In the Philippines, precipitaton is usually in the form of rain. Sometimes we experience strong winds, heavy rains, thunder and lightning, and tornadoes. During the rapid rise of air, electric charges build up in the clouds. Some places in the clouds have positive electical charge while others have a negative charge. When the current flows between regions of opposite electrical charges, lightning occurs. Bolts of lightning may leap from cloud to cloud and from clouds to the earth. This weather disturbance accompanied by strong winds, lightning and thunder is called thunderstroms. Tornadoes that occurs in the Philippines are characterize as weak. But whenever one occurs, it can cause much damage. A tropical cyclone is a major weather disturbance characterize by a low central atmospheric pressure. The center called eye is surrounded by bands of clouds and winds which blow in a counterclockwise direction in the Northern Hemisphere. A typhoon is a strong tropical cyclone. Associated with typhoons are such hazards as floods, landslides and storm surge. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is the agency that monitors weather conditions. PAGASA provides the nation with weather forecasts and typhoon warnings which are necessary so that people can take the necessary precautions.
          Typhoon warnings help people prepare in order to be safe from any disastrous effects they may bring. Remember, typhoons always visit our country. We should always be prepared for them. We should follow the precautionary measures about typhoons to lessen their destructive effects.

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy

          Scientist have special ways of working. They observe things scientifically and analyze them critically. They do this by going through different scientific processes. And one of them is chemistry. Chemistry is the science of matter, especially its properties, structure, composition, behavior, reaction, interactions and tha\e changes it undergoes. Without science, what are the things we can do?
          It is stated on the first paragraph that chemistry is the science of matter, and matter is all around you. Energy is also related to matter. We are made of matter. We have energy. With the energy we have, we can move our hands, kick a ball and do a lot of things. This is one of the topic of science. Science according to my research, can help the environment in create cures for plants sickness, and invent better way to grow plants. When we study science, it teach us how to use wise of natural resources. Like forest resources, on mature trees should be cut. It is also teach us how to recycle and reuse things. Let us use old newspapers and bottles for examples. Old newspaper is used for making paper. This practice is recycling. Bottles, on the other hands, can be wash very well and use again. This practice illustrates reuse.

My Teacher, My Hero

          All of us experience to have a teacher. Except to our parents. Its starts when we enter to school. what are there role in our lives? How can they help you if you are in trouble or facing any problems? Do you they can be your inspiration or model?
          Our teachers are our second parents in school. They teach us how to read and write, about english, math, science, filipino and everything. They teach us to discipline ourselves. They teach us all the things that we must know. If we have a problem they can also give us advice or help us to solve our problems. They will do anything just to make sure that we will have a good life in the future. So we must study and listen to them because our teachers know the best for us. this is why our teachers are so important to us.
          We must respect them as we respsct ourselves. They hardly teach for us. Even if they are sick, they still come to school to teach us. They have a lot of sacrifices, so on the day for our teachers we must show to them how important they are to our lives. 

My Modern Hero

          Every one of us has an inspiration and hero in life. Anywhere you are you cannot deny it, even outside the country or outside the world. When and where did it starts to have an inspiration? What did they do for you to make you happy?
          I am a person with simple dream.To fulfill all my goals in life. But I cannot do this without my inspiration. It started to have an inspiraton, when I was young. Because I saw all the sacrifices he made just for the sake of our family. And he is my father, his name is Mario Abuel. I study harder just for him, because I want him to be proud of me. When we have problem, I become strong because of him. I will do everything for my study and to fulfill all my goals. I want to be like him because he is strong, kind, responsible and a lovoble father to me. He will do anything for me. Eventhough he is tired, he still work to be able me to go to school. He wants me to finish my study because he wants me to be successful someday like others. this is the only sentence I can say for him, that I love him so much.
         This all about my inspiration. His conduct and all the things about him. Why he became my inspiration? Is already answered in the second paragraph.

State Of The Nation Address of His Excellency Benigno S. Aquino III

          This are the involve persons who attended the SONA of the President. Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile; Speaker Feliciano Belmonte; Vice President Jejomar Binay; Former Presidents Fidel Valdez Ramos and Joseph Ejercito Estrada; Chief Justice Renato Corona and our Respective Minister of the Supreme Court; Respective Delegates of Cabinets; all Local Government Officials; all the members of the Kamara de Representante and Senate; Men in uniform and PNP officials.
          "Wang-wang" is the focus of his SONA. He said that it will be the sign and symbolizes changes. I agree with this because some rich persons doesnt care about the safety of the person that will be crossing in the road. President Benigno also says that only the President, Vice President, Senate President, House Speaker, Chief Justice and Policeman, Fireman and Ambulance are the only authorized to use wang-wang for their important oppointment. These are example results of their campaigne versus wang-wang system. Filipino says that hungry people are lessen. From 20.5% self-rated hungry last March, goes down to 15.1% this June, same as one million Filipino family not feed then, but now they are eating three times a day.
          This is all about the SONA of the President.

"Isulong ang Breastfeeding: Tama,Sapat at Eksklusibo"

          Many of us are wondering, why do momies need to breastfeed their babies? Why may be the if they breastfeed them? Before I answer these question at the second paragraph. I will be giving the definition or meaning of the word breast. It is the human chest or the heart affection. It is also the milk-secreting organ in mammals.
          Before we were born our mothers are taking good care of us. All of them are eating nutritious food to be sure that we will be healthy. When we were born the first thing they do is that they breastfeed us. They think that breastfeeding makes their babies healthy and strong. We have a different body parts. Each part does something. This is because we are in good condition with the help of breastfeeding. We dont need to buy very expensive milk. Breastfeeding also makes their babies more active in their activities.
          This is why breastfeeding is very important. So use breastfeed to your babies.

A Letter to the President of the Philippines

Dear Mr. President,
    Before anything else I would like to greet you a pleasant day and I would also like to introduce my self. I am Rizza Abuel from San Pedro, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
    We are also one of the most indigent family in our place. I wrote a letter for you because you are the only man that can help me. I would like to be your scholar if ever. I want you to court me in my study because my parents cannot afford it. Because they have no permanent job. My father is a fisherman, if there is a typhoon he cannot able to go to the sea. So please help me sir. Not also this problem sir I would also like to say, please help the poor family in our country because they need you on these days. Please show to us that you deserve to be our president. Lowen the price of our major needs in our everyday's life. Give the right salary for the government employees.
